Over the long weekend here in Canada I was able to catch up on my favourite YouTuber Fleur De Force’s videos. She did a new lip product tag that I have not seen around before. and since I enjoyed her video so much I decided it do the tag as well!
QUESTIONS:
1. Favourite balm/treatment?
Burt’s Bees lip balm with Pink Grapefruit. If you haven’t tired this one do it! It’s amazing!
2. Best eye-catching red?
Mac’s Ruby Woo! This is my favourite red because it has a blue undertone which helps make your teeth appear whiter.
3. Best luxury & best drugstore?
My favourite luxury lip brand is YSL. I’m a sucker for their gold packaging and their formula on their Rouge Volupte Shine line is simply amazing!
As for drugstore I would have to say the Kate Moss line from Rimmel.
4. Best MAC lipstick?
Plumful, it’s my go to every day lipstick.
5. The most disappointing?
Myth from MAC but in general all nude shade. There was so much hype around this shade so I of course had to check it out for myself. I sadly found out that I look absolutely terrible in nude shade lipsticks, I end up looking like the walking dead. I also found the formula incredibly drying so it would always create ugly line creases on my lips.
6. Liner – yes or no?
Yes and no. With my bolder lipsticks (shades or red and bold pinks such as Mac’s Girl About Town) I use liners always! If I don’t the colour always seems to smear and look terrible. I however don’t use liners with my other lipstick shades.
7. Best gloss?
To be honest I’m not the biggest gloss fan but I do find myself almost always reaching for Mac’s Deelight when I want a gloss. I also like to apply Vaseline over top of my lipstick when I want some shine.
8. Something extra!
